Needing Bootstrap Advice

Can someone give me some pointers on what I should or shouldn’t be doing here. I’m very new to this so I’ve only got 2yos and yearlings as of right now.
So far I’ve been keeping all mares intact and gelding pretty much all stallions. My plan was to breed the mares to a higher PT outside stallion in the future and then continue this cycle.
I’ve also been culling anything with a PT score under 10.0 (I think I saw somewhere that diversity was good, but I could definitely be wrong)
this is what my barn looks like as of now. I’d be super grateful for any tips and tricks.

Well first I would paper your mares to see how they paper. Then you can set a required paper level, that will help you more than culling based on PT. But i cull for both. If you want to get very drastic you can comparison test your girls and only keep the very best, but it isn’t necessary right now I wouldn’t worry about it until your girls paper gold.
These two stallions are extremely high quality star stallions despite their PT being low. I have their full brother and have yet to find another horse outside of Johara’s lines that compare. So I would breed them back to their daughters until you start getting offspring that test aga them. Or find an outside stallion that tests aga or superior.

Okay so I paper tested all my mares. I got mostly blues and golds with a couple reds. I assume I should cull the reds. (Should I completely get rid of them or just spay them?)
Since I’ve got the two stallions should I breed them to each other’s kids? Or does it not matter? -
I would spay all of the red-papered mares. Go ahead and keep them all, they will make excellent show ponies.
Breeding wise it doesn't matter, do whatever makes you happiest with your boys. -
Will do! Thank you so much for everything!
