Buying someone else a restricted gene

Do I put it on a horse they already own, or can I put it on a horse I’m working on for them and then transfer the horse?

If it's for the Gift Exchange you can transfer a horse, if it's not them you'll need to put it on a horse they already have.

Thanks so much! They didn’t have any specifics on the direction they were taking on the work in progress, and I was torn between making that one homozygous for a gene they already had and adding another gene they didn’t have to the horse I’m making for them.
