Whatever happened to....

  • I remember getting messages after pastures were bred if there were lethal white foals and which matings they were from. What happened to them?

I bred 100 mares and there were 95 foals, so there had to be 5 lethal white foals, but there's no information on them.

  • I get the notifications at the top of the page right after I breed. But if I go to another page right away the notifications vanish, so they are easy to miss. I don't recall if they say who had the lethal foals. But I thought it was a newer update. I remember in the past not getting notifications from the pasture when foals were lethal.

  • This was an auto breed, I didn't manually click the pasture breed button. I got the email that one pasture had been bred so I went to look and the info wasn't there when I loaded the pasture page

  • I think you are confused. Silverstar is correct on how it works now and worked in the past. It has never sent that info via email and has never been there if you just load up the page later.

  • That's the thing. It didn't show up when I logged into the game and loaded the pasture to check the foals for the 1st time. The info just wasn't there. I'm getting ready to auto breed a pasture today, I'll see if the info is there when I load the pasture page after I get the email notification about the pasture being bred.

  • And no, I wasn't talking about the email notification people get after a pasture is bred - that's only for "pasture best foal".

Entirely different from lethal white foals, that info is supposed to show on the pasture page itself.

Ok, for this pasture (3rd gen), I had 100 mares of breeding age.

I checked the pasture page and I had 98 foals. That meant 2 foals were lethal white.

Yet no info was displayed. I made sure I didn't have that pasture page up once I had put the boys in.
  • The lethal foals are only noted when you manually breed a pasture.

Did you let the pasture autobreed or was it manually bred?

  • Nothing about lethal foals shows up or has ever shown up when you log into the game.

  • It was autobred, Humboldt. Are you saying it only shows if the pasture is manually clicked before the 14th?
  • Correct, that is the only time I have seen the pasture alert to lethal foals.

  • I handbred one pasture and I got the pasture breeding report which would have had that info. Thanks for clearing that up.
  • Bingo! I handbred a different pasture just now and got this

    Pasture Breeding Report:
    98 mares found to breed

The foal from FS Taluwinet 2 dpb and FS Jerikezila 2 S dp did not survive.
This foal carried an excessive burden of white mutations causing it not to survive.

Best of pasture email sent for 2G Pasture .

    Thanks so much Humboldt
