What is she worth?

Since I am brand new, I don't know the market that well. What would you say this mare is worth? https://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=13339927 Thank you for helping me!

Technically create price but she's pointed with a decent payout and so you could probably get away with 5KLicensed for:
All Axiom
Ice: 9, 13, 15-19
RR: wt, PBC, PBW, Nac
PHAN: dmsp, lace, sku, hrt, shm, jelly, pmk, bird, crit sun star.
Other: everything but SPM and jewelThanked by 1cmkthrives -
So the colors and brindle don't change anything?
-
Not really, unless someone ISO's brindles. you can simply search the tattoo name and 'for sale only' to check the going rate for RS's. As a general rule special event only RS's are the money makers, you can check this by going to herd helper collection and using your computer's find feature (usually ctrl+f) to find the RS you want to inspect.Licensed for:

The exception to this is if you luck out wih certain genes NOT mandated by the her helper DP, halo and to lesser extent snowflake will all raise the price slightly if the HH usually doesn't have them.Licensed for:

Great thank you so much!

I wouldn't sell it for any less than what the life time payout is! If you were to keep her that's how much you would make from her over time not including any other accumulative points from showing!
There is a rule of thumb when looking at the horse your planning to sell.
Is the horse a basic create? Basic like a plain chestnut or Bay or black that don't really have anything special are your base create price 2,500.
Bridles are worth more than a basic. A plain brindle could easily sell between 5,000-10,000hbs. Not including if it has points.
If the horse is a rank 5 or 6 and tests superior it's worth more than a regular create!
Now genetics play a huge role too! The more the horse has that's homozygous for a trait typically a high demand one like DP or sty or both combined then the horses price increases . Look at some horses on the breeding or forsale market and what others price them at. You won't see a dark liver chestnut that's homozygous for DP STY sell under 10,000hbs.Thanked by 1annismyrph -
Just want to add, that rank specials or exceptional producers/exceptionally perfects/perfect foundations/top notch producers never need to be tested against their dam/sire, as their breeding ability is already known, and they will always be good breeders.ID 195859

Did I miss something? I've always assumed that if a foundation passed SBA, it was good enough to keep as a breeder provided it was Yellow/Red or C/B
-
Yes they are. Testing foundations against their sire/dam is throwing money away, but testing horses with known breeding ability is even more throwing money away. lolID 195859
