Each horse you sell back to the auction reduces your bonus stall counter by 0.5%. Breeding and creating horses increases the counter by 0.5%.

No problem! If you’re playing on a computer, there is a black box on the right side of the screen right underneath the white announcements/news box. It gives you that info.

Right now mine says I lost 1% for auctioning horses back to the game and gained 0.5% for a create. I’m 66.5% of the way to my 13th bonus stall. It’s a very useful little box :)
