I have two at the moment. My purple phoenix tattoo is for my breeding stock and my purple flame tattoo is for my favorite show horses (ones that have earned me awards, have a really high lifetime payout, have earned over 100 points in a month, are gifts, etc.) so I don’t accidentally auction them. I place tattoos when I’m bored :D

I’m considering another tattoo for breeding stock with my favorite horses in their lines, like maybe a purple feather.

I make sure Everyone gets their tattoos lol! I have 3 right now, one for my general breeding stock, one for horses with fantasy genes, and one for my Liver Pearl line but definitely need a few more for other lines and a tattoo for my GMed/special foundations would be nice so they would be easier to find! My tattoos all have a theme that relates to my breed name and banner (Alicorns & Unicorns) with a special one for my Pearl line ( A Dragons Head). I have thought about doing a tattoo for each generation but that would be just Too many horses to tattoo for me lol. :))

As of right now I have

Blaze5115- this goes on pretty much everything
Blaze Bootstrap- as the name suggests it’s for my bootstrap lines
Blaze Stallions- I use this one for my main breeding boys
Whenever I get around to it I’ll add a fantasy line
(Just a big umbrella for fantasy because I dont breed enough for specific genes)

Like others have said. it’s easier for me to put need to know information in a horses name. The main one being generation.

I have tattoos for DP, KP, Axiom and Nexus, and S+. I will have to look, I don't remember exactly what I have at the moment.

DP and KP are reserved for hom horses. Nexus and Axiom goes on any horse that carries that gene.

I had tattoos for the different genes/lines i bred such as GP, KP, DP, Snowflake, fantasy, satin, but since the search was updated I do not really use them anymore. Now I put the prefix in front of the name of the horse (so MS2 GP ...) is a second gen horse for my GP line.
I do have a 'love to look at tattoo that I give to horses that look amazing. That way I can enjoy my most beautiful horses again without forgetting they exist somewhere in my barn haha. I also use this for showhorses or horses that are gorgeous but should be snipped because they are only AGA. That makes the snipping part less painful haha.
I also have a 'must breed' tattoo for horses that I must not forget to breed. That varies from high quality breeding horses to horses from special lines or that have a lot of the genes that I want.
Those are the two tattoos that I really use nowadays. I now put the generation, genes and lines of a horse in its name, for easier breeding and searching in the dropdown menu's.
