White factor/genes?
-
Hey, hoping for a little advice. I got larger white patches than I'd been hoping for on some of my foals and just want to make sure I understand why it's happening.
I'd been looking at keeping white factor low but this one, for example, has only light white factor. Is it the interaction of the W8 and W20? I can easily keep the W20 out of the line if that's the problem.

This one has both W8 and W20 as well, but has lower white factor, so that does seem like an influence too?

W20 does strongly boost the amount of white from other kit genes.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.
