I won a Candy Horse in the auction. What now?

You can redeem him for a GMT token by clicking the text on his page that says this. After that, he will be a regular horse that you can decide to do what you want with.

Thanks Menstrosity. I've just been talking with annismyrph, the stripes are gone! I left it overnight because I didn't know what to do with it. Are they time sensitive?

If the stripes disappeared, it is because the original owner already turned it in for its GMT token. When you purchase a candy pony that hasn't been turned in, it will have a link on the bottom of the horse's page saying something like 'click here to turn in for a GMT". If you don't see that link, it has already been turned in. Most people will not put a candy horse in auction that still has a token associated with it, and I don't think you can put them up for public sale anymore.

If you put the horse up for sale for 125k on the public sales list, I'll buy it. That way you can take the hbs and purchase a gmt! Just send me a PM with the link to the horse. :)

Sometimes the images don't update right away when the GMT token is updated. So it was redeemed and then tossed in the auction before the image updated to the non-candy horse.

We try and set it up so it happens right away but sometimes no one loads the page and sales happen before the stripes are removed. Sorry, you got caught in that.
