Stallions comparison test didn't change after boosts
-
I've been boosting alot of my horses now and am slowly figuring out the percentage depending where the horse stands to it's sire or dam. Normally 2 boosts slightly moves them up and sometimes it takes 3 to get them slightly better where as using 5 gets supirior to as good as sire types. This guy was as good as sire "I'm stumped" at base level . He's had 3 boosts and I feel should have bumped up slightly? There has been zero changes to his comparison test/papers. If I did 5percent he would be slightly under supirior "about as good slightly better" Is it possible there's a fluke going on with it? Or maybe my calculations are off slightly?

Nope, nothing has changed. Those numbers are not correct and I always recommend a 5% if someone is trying to make a colt superior as it can easily take 4% to make it happen. At that point, the 5% is cheaper.Post edited by Ammit at 2021-10-02 09:17:18Need to contact me? Read this first.
