Just added blue to this mare. But her coat did not change?
Do I need 2 copies to get that beautiful blue?
If I leave it one strand of blue.will it pass to her foal?

Yep two copies to show the blue. This goes for all Axiom colors. You can be hom. of a single Axiom or mix them up for different colors. For example, an Axoim R/b horse would be purple. Nexus (x) doesn't work with the others however.

You need two copies to show. She can pass it to a foal, but it's a roll of the dice whether the foal WILL get it or not.

As with any heterozygous gene, your mare will have a 50% chance to pass the axiom to her foals.
You need to have 2 copies of the axiom genes to get the blue color. If you had put it on a horse with a solid coat or larger areas of color, the single copy of axiom would show as small white stars, like this horse:
