@crazysnakelady
I looked at Tall Colt’s pedigree and his sire carries W10/W20 and DP/DP. Which would mean that any of the sire’s foals had a 100% chance of getting one copy of DP, and a 50/50 chance of either one copy of W10 or one copy of W20. So, it looks like he inherited the genes from his sire :)Thanked by 1Nightphoenix -
Small addition: you can see in the genetics where it came from. The first gene on an allele is from the sire of the horse, the second gene is from the dam. So for example if you look at Tall Colt's black allele, you can see he got an 'e' from his sire and a 'E' from his dam. That way you don't have to go into the family tab and click on his sire and dam separately to see who gave him what!HJ1 160524

The first horse does not have frame :)Need to contact me? Read this first.

Yep, first one looks like W2, possibly sabino from the dam as well. Frame isn’t “fuzzy” like W2 is :)
It might help you understand color genetics easier if you gene test your foals so you don’t have to guess :)Post edited by Nightphoenix at 2021-11-10 09:17:04I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!
