I've been breeding my best horses and getting some super cute foals. Some are recommended for breeding, and I figure I'll keep those. Some are recommended for showing. Do you keep those, or sell?

I have a bunch of altered foals now, but they sure seem to be a long way from bringing in the big bucks on the show circuit, you know?

I'd recommend keeping them. I keep 90% of my altered foals for show stock. The more show horses you can have, the better. Yes, it does take some time before they can start earning money but when you get enough of them, they will collectively pull in a decent amount :)

Also, please remember Foals do not train and there are only 2 per show class , they really wont start bringing in money til after they are 5 or so "years" old. Your Best Show horses are your pointed creates, hang on to them and train/ show them every week until you build up a decent Show String. Most people keep 2-3 Show horses per Each Breeding horse :)

Keep and show those foals, that's how to make money. I get an average profit of about 10k per horse when I keep foals, allow them to reach 10 years old and then auction for payout. In addition to their lifetime payout, you also get your daily bonus for those approx 270days they are in your barns.

If you auction foals now, you will get 2500 and they will be bid on by the game and deleted. Majority of people do not buy foals in the game, as we all breed our own and try to make room.
