Happy Turkey Day! What are you thankful for?
-
Ok, I know this is early. But I wanted to extend my warmest thoughts to all of you, especially for those that wont be here tomorrow. (I know I will, I have no life! :))
Tomorrow is mostly about thinking about how thankful you are, so I wanted to start a post listing what you are thankful the most about. So, I will start. It would also be fun to know where everyone lives, how many horses you have. (If you dont have horses, breyers can be counted! :)) )
I am thankful for good friends, I have several that I have been friends with back in the old days :)) in middle school (some 40 years ago)
I am thankful mostly for my horses. Each one had brought me though several hard times through my life. They are very loyal and love you no matter what.
I am from Iowa and currenly have 7 horses. 2 Paints, 1 thoroughbred and 4 ArabiansPost edited by Ambervalleyarabians at 2021-11-24 08:39:52 -
Great post!
I am most thankful for my family and my animals. I am so very thankful that my sons, their wives and my adored grandchildren live on the same street as I do so I get to be with them often.
I am from the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, a beautiful, quiet, rural area far from the hustle and bustle of NYC.
Currently I have 1 miniature horse.

I am thankful that I have a job now. I am thankful I can afford to buy what I want to eat. I am thankful that my mother passed away last year and is no longer suffering.
I am from Florida and have imaginary/pixel horses. (I used to have a red dun Welsh x Quarter crossbred gelding when I was younger, but those days are long gone now) -
I am so very thankful that I can ride, take lessons with a great trainer and even affording to pay for lessons.
I do not own any horses but I have a small collection of 3 schleich horses, 3 classic breyers, The traditional sized breyer Voyeur, 3 mini whinnie breyers, a vintage classic breyer (I think), and 6 small breyer stablemate sized vintages. I used to ride my family member's appendix (quarter x thoroughbred) gelding that is 18 now. Now I ride a pinto draft cross gelding called Chen.
I am from canada but I celebrate thanksgiving in october and november.ID # 273464
