Hi! My name is Morgan and I have just joined the game. I have been interested in horses as long as I can remember and I love trying out any game that possibly lets me explore that; the importance of genetics in this game is even more intriguing to me. I have a whole barnyard of animals at home. Dogs, cats, rats, fish, snakes; we've had hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, and even more so I've certainly been around the block with quite a few animals. I'm just excited to try out this new game and experiment with all of the genetics and breeding.

Hi Amanda! Hi Wendy! Wendy, there are several of us in the same situation, at one time you couldn't keep us away from horses, then real life stepped in. There are several of us 'more mature' women playing the game and it meets the need nicely!

-I only own a crowntail betta. Sadly my cory catfish bloopy passed away :-( but the rest are many family members or parents. I really want a corn snake

-Always looking for new friends! I don't bite like a chesnut mare

-I'm Not confused about this but was the horse models different from the game started? (ex. updates on models from the past) because the outback saddle and the all purpose saddle fit kinda weird on the riding ponies and horses. Just hoping for future updates!

-Coke but preferably diet because caffiene has a better taste than sugar

How do you prefer Pepsi over Coca Cola, but like Coke products more!! LOL! I just recently switched from a serious Pepsi addiction of 30 years to the less sugar varieties of Pepsi products (Pepsi Zero and Diet Pepsi) and now I find regular Pepsi tastes really strange! I have, however, lost 10 lbs in 2 months just by switching!

Hi! Not super new to the game. I have Forest and Mesa accounts as well. Completely new to Bluegrass. I have loved horses since I was able to walk and absolutely love genetics so this game is right up my alley. I don't currently have a real horse of my own but have 7 rescue cats, 1 pup and 3 aquariums. Preference is Pepsi.
I do have one question though: I'm not able to change my username. Do I have to wait for a day or so to be able to do that?

Hey! My names Lindsay, recently started back after a few years hiatus from the game. I've been in love with horses my entire life lol & have been riding the majority of it as well.

I currently own my own farm where the majority of our animals are rescues. I give riding lessons, train horses & show in barrels, poles and western pleasure classes when I have the time (mostly local, hoping my mare will help take me further than local shows in 2022 though).

I have 2 horses of my own, my main ride is a flea bitten grey quarter horse mare named Pandora. She's an ex ranch horse & was used in polo as well for a few years before I found her, she was a gift from my best friend as she is almost identical (only difference being height) from my heart horse I owned as a teenager. I'm not sure what her bloodlines are as she didn't come with her papers, but I love her just the same. I've spent the last few months retraining her for barrels, fingers crossed she does as well as I think she will. She has so much potential. Either way she's quickly earned her spot as a heart horse in my soul. My other mare is a sorrel appendix mare, who is a retired polo horse. She's very laid back, a bit grouchy, but she adores children & is the best babysitter so she is my main lesson horse for kids at my farm.

I also have 2 dogs, a corgi named Oliver & a beagle named Pickles. We have a rat named Mojo (he's old, his cage mate Ryuk recently died of old age a few months back). We have 40+ chickens, 11 ducks, 4 cats (Binx, Link, Kiwi & Todoroki). We also have a black potbelly cross pig named Willie. All of them besides half of the chickens & a couple of the ducks were all rescues.

Hi my name is Xia. I am pretty new still (under a month) to everything though have an account on the Forest server I started at the same time as this one. My goals for this server is black based ice drafts though if I get the chance I'd definitely get some brindles again though I've had no luck breeding them XD

For those of you who haven't seen my other comment. I own a black and bay gelding, and have always loved horses. Though I couldn't afford them until I was an adult (as many equestrians it seems have had the same experience), but now I can't imagine my life without at least four hooves in it <3

@WolfRanch I love brindles and I have.... I really dont know but I have over 15. The obsession is really big for me :-)

Haystack is Mr. Ammit. He does quite a bit of the background programing. Occasionally, when Ammit is not available he will post a response to a fix. He has an account, but he doesn't really play the game, that I know of. Super nice person, just not as visible as Ammit.

Hi MackZ, and welcome to the game! Horses don't get 'injured' but occasionally you will get a notification of 'damages' that can cost you from 1HB up to several hundred. There is no set definition of those damages, though. 1HB of damage could mean your horse stepped on a bucket and broke off the handle, while 133 HBs could mean that they wrapped a barbed wire fence around a leg and you had to have the vet out. Most horses will never do much damage over their lifetime on the game. Others will rack up damages in the hundreds once or twice a month. Some folks like to breed those last kind of horses, just for fun. One horse, named Wreck It Ralph, was the start of those kind of breedings so a lot of the lines are named after him.

Hello, My name is Heather, but you can call me Purl. I joined back in December but didnt know how to post here till I accidently found it. I have always loved horses and used to ride when I was in highschool. I currently have 3 cats, a mini Dachshund and a bunch of fish. I just completed schooling for dog training as well. Still learning the ins and outs of the game, but I joined becuase horses are awesome and I always enjoyed genetic games. Can't wait to make some new friends as I learn about this game.

Thank you ConfluenceStable! I have another question: when does the newsletter typically get sent out? I haven't gotten one yet, so I'm wondering when to expect it.

I have a few more questions. What is the daily lifetime payout? How does it work? And how is it figured for each horse? It seems really random. Does that amount change? And does it get paid to the owner at the horse's death?
I've also found some horses that are archived. How do you archive a horse, and what is the benefit?
