Breeding Fees?
-
How do you decide how much to make your brood fee for your stallions? I generally just go 1200 but I was wondering if anybody had another way to decide how much?
On a side note I have a brown appaloosa gray appaloosa stallion standing for 1500 HBs.

Mares go much higher than studs. Since you specifically asked for studs a flat stud with no special genes usually goes between 50 and 500 depending on how fast you want to breed him off. You might be able to fetch a little higher for a chimera, hom DP liver or a nicely kitted out appy but that's the general rule. Flashy A papered lined stallions can go for 1K-5K. A heavily gmt/licensed foundy Will go for more.
If someone has the link to that straw pricing guide hopefully they'll post it. It goes far more in depth than I can as I don't actually have any decent studs yet.
Best advice is to search similar horses with the for breeding box ticked and price accordingly.Licensed for:
