Sooty and seal brown

In real life, do we have a sooty gene? Is it related to the seal brown gene?

I believe we do with sooty. I look on this site alot and see they word sooty. http://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com/horse-forums/rare-colored-horses-post-away-325861-215.html. I frequently talk to Gael4ce ( which is very helpful and friendly) she said that all genes in the game are based on real life genetics and color patterns. I hope this helps some :)

Not all...there's no such thing as ice. ;)
But the bulk have their roots in reality... keeping in mind that equine color genetics are something currently being researched and as such, they keep discovering new things and changing their minds on how old things work.Thanked by 1Visions
