So I've seen people asking to exchange HBs for pastures, genes, etc and I'm curious how that works and if it is frowned upon? And how do you determine a price when exchanging fake money for something that costs real life money?

From what I’m familiar with, it’s a way to exchange USD to HBs. The current rate is 100k HBs per 1 USD, not sure how that was established but that’s the rate most people will exchange for. It doesn’t go against rules! Think of it as someone buying you a gene/pasture as a gesture, and payment through the game could be seen as a “thank you”. That’s how it makes sense in my mind at least haha :))

I ve some lately the exchange has gone up to 150k per 1usd ; it might be becuase of the holidays tho :)

So if I understand it correctly, at 150k per $1....a 30 acre pasture which costs $15 would be $2,250,000 in HBs?

Ammit said in a comment a few months back that the inflation was 125k per $1. So $15 is 1,875,000 hbs
