Best rank special to GMT a DP/DP liver chestnut?

I'm aiming for a flaxen "black" liver chestnut foundation like these. Besides "happy accidents", I don't think there are any homozygous DP rank specials, so which ones should I look for that give me the least expensive things to change?
In my searching, it looks like Song of Slepnir is the best bet. I made both of mine mares, and bred them, so I don't think I can GMT them now (I haven't done any yet)? I saw some freaky friday's in my search, but that seems inconsistent what they turn out to be. -
Cherry Drops are also Hom DP and usually easy to find.Bluegrass 272432 | Forest 54250 | Mesa 9056

I go based on paper level, so generally I go for a B/Red foundie if I plan on gmting or starting a line with it so that the foals are more likely to passPost edited by MiaMoo at 2022-01-08 08:45:11Licensed for: Phantom Lace, Phantom Hearts, Phantom Skulls, Phantom DMSP, Apple Picking, Bouqet, Roses, Shamrock, Phantom Wisps, Chinchilla, ONYX, Splash M, Height Regulator, PBC, PBW, Watercolor, Axiom Green, Axiom Blue, Toner, and Mushroom

I like using Pretzel twists they may or may not be HOM Dp tho, I just think they give a cool look.
Also if you go to "Member Home" ; "Account & Stable Management " : "My Herd Helper" it lists every single HH and what they "can" be genetically

The Bronze Age though the are Bay Pearls. And typically Het for DP.
And Dark Chocolate is another one.
And if you sell the foals back to the game, wait 24 hours you can then GMT the mares.Post edited by HelenofTroy at 2022-01-08 09:39:27Licensed for: All Axiom Genes, All Rainbow Riot 1 & 2 Genes, Splash M, Phantom except for Wisp, All Ice, Mushroom, Onyx, DFP2, Shatterglass, Chinchilla, Platinum and Height Regulator -
Cherry Drop is homo for DP, yes but they are non sooty, so that requires some extra GMT work.
Myself I like Freaky Friday for DPDP, but those are difficult to acquire due to being date specific/Ammit triggered. -
Thanks for the ideas!
If i'm going to put all the GMT work in, i'd like to have a B/10.4 stallion, but beggars can't be choosers....
I like the idea of using a cherry drop! They are pretty common, and I have two mares I could use if nothing else. -

she's stunning! How much would you like for her?

Rhythm of four is a DP herd helper as well.

She's up for you!

The cheapest ones to GMT would be Freaky Fridays, as they are all DPDP and StySty, so you would have to change any Es if they have them (and any frame if you dont want that in you lines). Then we have Cherry Drop (yellow/C) or Liberation Actualization (red/B), as they are both homozygous DP. If you find ones that are Ee A+a, you'll need 4 GMTs, as opposed to 5 for a copy of DP.ID 195859Thanked by 1lecobb

Freaky Fridays are my go-to's (especially because I like having frame in my lines as well). They'll look completely white until you remove a copy of frame but are all dp/dp and sty/sty
Here's an example of a Freaky Friday offspring of mine (out of a sooty flaxen chestnut mare). She missed out on flaxen from dad, but would be easy to add since he carries it too:
