This year I lost 4 horses.
One foundation sire - my ex pro stallion, he was 18.
One foundation mare - gave me 4 good fillies and 1 colt. She was 21.
One 2nd gen mare - Didn't leave behind much, but she did leave me two sons and one daughter. She was 18.
One 3rd gen mare - was the dam of my first mare to paper blue. One of her half sisters also papered blue (same dam). I'll miss that old girl, even though she left only two intact daughters. She was 19.

Meanwhile, my first BBTS mare is still frolicking around in her pasture at age 24.
