Hom Frame on a non-Freaky Friday Horse?
-
-
The second DNA set on a chimera can have hom frame without causing a lethal foal. The first set has a non frame gene and allows the foal to develop normally, while the second set only effects the horse's color.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.

It can only happen on foundation horses. You can GMT a foundation to have Hom frame with no issues, too.

Oh so weird. Ok thank you.

I'm pretty sure I saw it was possible for chimera lined horses to be hom frame on their secondary set too :) There was someone who got one somewhere.ID 195859

Oh yeah, the second DNA sets love to break the rules! I have a mare (herd helper) that is hom W1 on her second strand and she’s totally fine!I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!
