That's really cool! I know the black is from the Splash white markings being turned to black, but I'm not sure the reason for the two different shades of brown. Very interesting though!

Wow this looks so cool! Maybe its because he is homozygous for wrong warp? I know that het warp + het nexus often gives a twirl or rounded warp on the hip.
I think it is the hom warp in combination with the dun. A normal dun has a dark topline, it seems like this topline got warped down. It almost looks like he has DFP2 haha.

Thanks MasterStablesMS! I think you're right. This sale hom foal also has some warping on the hip and brown on the neck, it's not as bold, but there's no dun, either. Cool!
