This horse failed and got snipped, I unaltered him and want to gmt him or something to boost him out of the fail zone, but when I look, I don't see anything that looks pertinent. Would straws from him when he's older fail too?

You should be able to boost him from the Boost Tokens page under the Advanced Facilities tab. You need to have the tokens to boost him, which you can get through the Voucher Exchange or through buying them on the upgrades page.

Boosting is expensive and you may never be able to boost them enough to pass. Normally it is better to just breed a replacement if possible.

Nope. Breeding to worse makes does not make for better foals and that is not why this horse failed testing. It is just not a very good horse.

oh, would a clone have the same status or will it have different statistics that might let the clone pass?

Since a clone is an Exact copy of the horse ; my guess would be it is Exactly the same
