Does DP Affect Bay?

There is a range of bays. Base A bay by itself is pretty light. I know sooty has a darkening effect, but I was wondering if DP made bays darker. An initial search seems to support that, but I was wondering if more was at work here. Is DP a weaker darkener than sooty?Game number 273531

DP definitely affects bays. It can bring out some really nice dapples on hom sooty bays, and non sooty bays get really bright cherry red.

Sometimes with the cherry drop creates, they will be het DP or hom DP and be a blood-bay colour.ID# 274513
