Not Enough DMSP stars or hearts?
-
Is there a way to increase the number of the DMSP stars on a horse, the way you can change the blanket size on an appy?
clone of 11427568
Or also this one

The way I understand it, fantasy patterns like the Axioms and Phantoms put the same pattern placement on each horse, and how well you see the pattern depends on how much white is already on your horse. From what I've seen, solid horses show the entire fantasy pattern, while light-colored or white-patterned horses hide the pattern where the white occurs.
Basically, the hearts and diamond sparkles are there, you just can't see them due to the white pinto markings. I haven't seen any way to change that, other than using GMT tokens to remove some white markings. If you look closely at the second foal, you can see that some of the hearts also blend in with the base color, so they're a little harder to see as well.Might be addicted to pixel ponies...

They dont show up in "Appy white" ie the "blanket", however they DO show up on Tobiano Whites : this mare shows her Appy "Fading" really well and you can see where the DMSP stars are in her coat :)

Here is a Tobiano Mare ; you can see her Apples through out her body where the "Tobiano White" is :

And here it is on Frame : I think you are needing to get some Tobiano in your herd to really get it to POP

You can reroll portraits to get an image you like better. I do that somtimes.
I think there are some phantom genes that stay in the edges of white markings, and others are more widespread.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom -
What do I do to add tobiano presumably something to do with the genes, or am I misunderstanding?
And thank you all for the explanations, I actually understood you. -
The first one does have tobiano, so somehow I need to increase it.
Yes, I would like to know how to alter the white then, is that right? And what genes am I looking for?Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-02-26 12:07:46 -
you could play with the white factor ; or try re rolls like Humboldt said. Other than playing with the White Factor i dont know how to "increase" Tobiano , but remember the more white factor a horse has the increased changes of Lethal White in the foalsThanked by 1OopsDotCom

Reroll images to get variations in the phantom patterns.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Gonna hunt for genetics as close to that that I can find, start there.
Look at the dmsp on this one, it's hardly even there. (I didn't alter genes, this is the way it was hatched.)

you can try to pull her SW1 off , or her TO or just try a reroll; to me its more important they are HOM for it than its splashed all over themThanked by 1OopsDotCom

That horse actually has a lot of diamond sparkles compared to a lot of the ones I have! :)I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

Most phantom markings are seeded where white markings and solid areas meet. Roany marking genes like the above will make the most sparkles.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Roany = Roan?
And I'm not sure where to look for roan. It doesn't show up in the genetics panel.
Or do you mean I'd get more sparkles by adding Roan?Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-03-02 22:29:31 -
Roan is R in the KIT Genes ,Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

No not the roan gene. Go look at examples of W2. They are roany.Need to contact me? Read this first.
