Is there both brown and black stars on this little girl? How does that happen in case I want to try for more?
ow did that happen? -
That's the brown coat showing through. It's black along the topline and reddish-brown along the belly. If you gene test her you'll see her color is brown.
-
Just note that if you want to breed more like her, the brown gene only has that much black when it's heterozygous (one copy). When there are two copies of brown the coat is much redder and can almost look like a regular bay.
-
Here is an example of brown. Dark along spine and points, lighter on the belly. The diamond sparkles on your foal are aligned giving the cool effect.

It's too bad you can't choose the gender of a clone or I'd get a matching stallion. My skills at knowing who to gmt aren't very good yet. If I understand correctly, you can't gmt or whatever a clone because it's not bred by you, but if they both are mares, I could change the gender on this one? Is a pretty horse like this worth trying to breed more, or is it just a curiosity?

what a pretty baby!

You can change the gender of a clone in the GMT lab.
You can not clone a clone, clones are not eligible for the RGSs and you can not unalter a cloan as it was not bred by you.
