what's a white bay? also what does the Kit gene do?
-
the Herd Helper came up with a white bay and I can't figure out how to find one.
is it just a white horse with bay genes?
I see a lot of talk about Kit genes too
thanks in advancePost edited by Fiddler at 2022-03-06 12:43:54 -
There are several pages of FAQS on the left task bar. There are examples in the gene guides of several genes as well ; I think your herd helper was White 2 Bay? in which case it would be a bay horse with White 2 markings : here is the page of Kit Markings ( including examples of the White2 Gene )

thanks for the kit gene chart. believe me, I've been obsessively reading all the material on this site since I started a week ago.
I'm sorry I'm asking what seem like obvious questions. the herd helper was white 1 bay:
Rank 1: White 1 Bay
All horses will be White Bay. They may also have additional rare genes, and may be solid or patterne
thanks in advance -
ooh!!! I get it. white1, white 2 are kit genes, white modifiers!!!
got it!!
