Tattoos must be 25 pixels by 25 pixels in size. They have to be created with the PNG format. There used to be a maximum file size requirement, but I'm not seeing that listed anymore. We get one tattoo slot free. Additional tattoo slots cost 10,000 hbs.

Tattoos can be designed in an image generation program. I have mostly used Photoshop, because I already owned that program. There is (or used to be) a similar free application on line called Gimp. If you have a Microsoft operating system on your device, you should have an image program named Paint3D available to use.

When using Photoshop, I create a canvass 100 pixels square, so that I can see what I'm doing and then shrink it to 25 pixels square so that it can be used.

It helps to make a dark outline around light colored tattoos and light outline around dark colored tattoos, so that they will show up on horses whether their coats are dark or light.

You can find free apps to do it on your phone . I make my own and then use another app to change the image to the appropriate size then download it here. Look up free gifs editor.
