What happens to horses that you sell back to the game? Why would someone want to sell a horse back to the game?

When a horse is sold back to the game it's as if they never existed. They don't count as offspring, and if you want to add genes, or clone a horse they can't have any living offspring.

Some people want to keep their lines 'pure' and don't want to sell their horses to other people who might not be as thoughtful about breeding combinations as they are, or who might 'over breed' a special trait that the original owner wants to keep 'rare'.

Sometimes it's just faster. If you need stall space right away, selling horses back to the game happens faster than selling or auctioning the horse.

To add on ; when you sell a horse back to the game it also doesnt take away from your "extra" stall earnings; when you auction it does :)
