I was trying to understand how the leader boards work. I pulled up Era 10 I was looking under points earned by foundations. Unless I do not understand how this works why would there be lined horses in that category. My understanding was that there should be new creates that have foundations moms and dads any help to this puzzling situation to help me understand the leaderboards a little bit better would be much appreciated. Thank you

You will need to provide links to the horses you mean otherwise I don't know what you are looking at.

Are you sure that you were looking in the Points Earned by Foundations list? I just went through that category for Era 10 and didn't find any non-foundation horses.

In the other categories for that Era, however, lined horses could certainly appear because every foal born in the game inherits its era from the parent that belongs to the lower era. So, if an Era 10 stallion is bred to an Era 12 mare, the foal will be placed in Era 10.

Went back to check and found out my phone did not return me to the same spot so sorry.
What I thought was foundations I was viewing was really lined horses. Dang phone thank you for your quick answer all is well
