    So I am trying to wrap my head around what makes a horse " Win" Leaderboards
    Stallions are based on foals PT or breeding papers?
    Same with Mares
    Points on 2g and Lined kinda make sense ; the more they show / train and the Higher they place so the more points they get.
    Am just struggling with the Stallion and Mare listings really ;
    Why would you " Boost" a 7th gen Star stud for instance? does it make his foals have a Higher PT or Breeding paper?
    Thanks in Advance ; and please feel free to explain it like you would explain to a 5th grader :P

    I would boost a 7G stallion if I got sick and tired of waiting for ANY new, intact 8Gs to come along. Since I only breed evenly I also contend with mare lag around 6G, so boosting helps with that, too.

    I'm fairly new to the boosting side of things. I have strict tested and Sup sire/dam as well as even gens ... but I am not moving up the board, so would looking at boosting improve on this? Or am I messing everything totally? I've done the comp testing and they are mostly all as good as each other ... no one has *outshine* anyone else. Is that where I'm making my mistake?

    Most of my lines are Expro/Expro with all foals being sup sire/dam or they are snipped and sent to show. (Unless they are a breeding I can never do again) Most (not all but I know which have) gotten the pasture bonus. At what gen should I be looking to boosting and how much? At this point in time I really don't have that many boosted foundations ... and few I've boosted to get them sup to sire/dam.
