I bred this little beauty this morning, and was so excited to get something that passed SBA AND is hom snowflake.

She got 1 LP and 1 PATN, and has a blanket up to her throat.

According to my search, it should be possible with those genes to have a fairly small blanket to show off those snowflake spots. However, I tried rerolling her portrait about 6 times with almost the exact same appearance each time. Should I just keep trying, or do I really need to GMT the PATN away?

I think she looks lovely!

She will probably show the pattern much better after she grows up since snowflake spreads as the horse ages. I don’t know the exact answer, but removing the PATN might help. Leopard complex genes aren’t 100% predictable. If you don’t like what it does, PATN is only 1 GMT, so you could always put it back on :)

you would need to GMT her white down as well; Her Sire is a Full Body Leopard App and her Dam is all white ; the less white she has the smaller her blanket in general will be ; so Off with the PATN1 and change her white factor to light would be the best suggestion for a hip only blanket

I would definitely start with reducing the white factor, then removing the PATN1 if she's not quite to your liking.

White factor has zero impact on Appy.
