I'm trying to search for horses in this pasture that don't have dun or ND1, and also have a copy of non-DP (so I can see the ones not homozygous for DP) to pick some mares to cull. But for some reason, every time I run the search, my hom DP horses show up and the DP filter returns to default. Is this a glitch or something I'm doing wrong?

I think that fixed it :)

So I changed your parameters to Default on the Dp side ; so they could Only be Het for Dp and not HOM Dp ( which is what I think you want )?
24 mares came up on the search, I usually only change 1 allele per gene "box" when I search
