Is the pasture bonus cumulative each day or does it jump on certain days like say the 15th and the 30th?
I resorted pastures this month and took too long doing it, so most of my mares will be around day 26 when breeding opens. Just wondering if it's worth making myself wait an extra couple days to breed or not :))

Each day counts so it's worth getting them in as soon as possible and waiting until the full 30 days if you can. That reminds me, I have a few 3-yos I meant to have in pasture already. I better go throw them in now before rollover. :)

How much difference is there between mares who have been in the pasture for a month and ones who haven't? I've been using my pastures to breed because it's so much easier. Fill the pasture with the mares I want to breed to a certain or several stallions, put in the stallions, and breed the pasture. Then take them all out and breed the next batch. I'm also under the impression, but can't find a post about it, that it's cheaper to breed in the pastures than in the barns.

it is cheaper, I think 500 each in the pasture and 1000 each in the barn. but your mares don't use their full potential unless they stay in the pasture

@oopsdotcom I definitely see a difference in how many foals pass SBA when I have the full pasture bonus
