Too old to breed? > Question answered
-
Is it at 20 the horses can't breed any more, or after 20? Got all excited when I found this.

I believe horses can no longer breed at age 20. So 19 is technically their last year of being able to produce foals.

That's what I kind of was thinking. ah well, Learn the hard way.
Thanks. -
so, no exceptions? I bought an old mare of 19 years and already bred for the year too

19 is the last year a horse can breed. Once they hit 20 they can no longer breed.I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!
