Value of gift horses?
-
For horses I want to give to my recipient (giftee) horses that have never been bought or sold, that I have bred myself, (some are creates) how do I put a value to them so I can add up all the horses I have picked out and made sure I make the total an honest price (adding up to the 250,000 limit) before adding other pressies.
For example, this one

Thank you.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-04 22:19:10 -
Honestly, everyone values things differently based on what they like.
It's hard to put a price on creates without special genes just because everyone thinks differently. Personally, when I gift horses, I only see them as counting towards 2500hbs of what I spend on my recipient simply because when you sell a horse normally on public sale it states: "2500 hb's is the suggested price for new creates." and that way it's fair all across the board.
This is completely just my opinion though someone else might have something else to say, good luck :) -
Thank you, KG. I was mostly wondering because of the costs of testing, whether that should be counted or not. But 2500 makes sense for the basic horse. The ones that I bought, I have been using the price I paid. Don't worry, I have some other things in mind that will well make up for any difference.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-04 22:45:05

I don't think it would be wrong to add in the price of testing! But that's completely up to you and what you think, don't worry too much over prices and stuff, just make sure you have fun gifting what you can for you recipient :)

I practically rub my hands together in glee as I plot.
