How do I remove the stable header picture?
-
I changed it for another picture, but the picture is too small to see, but I can't figure out how to remove it.
-
What do you mean by "stable header picture?" Is it the image that appears above the horse image when you open the horse's page?

Okay. I have discovered where you need to go.
On your Member Home Page scroll down to Manage Stable Settings.
This section has three parts: the first is where you have entered your stable name; the second is where you enter your chosen breed name, if you have an upgrade; the third is where you enter the image you want to appear on each horse's Info Tab above its picture.
I'm not sure how you can change it, though. There doesn't seem to an option to remove the image. If you select a JPG image of max size 500 px (width) by 150px (height) and no more than 15kbs file size. Perhaps you could select an image with those dimensions and that not larger than that file size and upload it so that it would cover the image that you have entered that is too small. Be careful not to select an image that is covered by copyright laws. Those cannot be used. My horse header here on Bluegrass is a photo I took of a very young colt born at the Therapeutic Riding Center I volunteer with, a good many years ago.
Perhaps a PM to Ammit might give you a better answer for changing your horse header image.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2022-06-09 22:06:17 -
A general note to EVERYONE please do not suggest members PM me for things that are not private/PayPal issues. Members have gotten a bad habit of telling others to send me a PM for things that can be handled on the forum. When I receive too many PMs it makes it so people with purchase issues get flooded out and don't get helped.
Here is a refresher from the FAQ Page.

How to Contact An Administrator
Make a forum post first.
Most questions can be answered by other forum members and you will get the fastest answer by simply making a post. Additionally, things like bug reports really must be on the forum for them to be addressed.
If you have problems getting PayPal to work please make a forum post. We do not own PayPal and have very limited ability to troubleshoot Paypal problems. You will get the best answers by posting on the forum.
If you made a PayPal payment and there is an issue with it showing up on the site then please send a private message to Ammit with a description of the issue.
Private questions such as issues of account locking, PayPal payments, and other personal issues can be addressed to Ammit on the forum.
How to send a private message:
Log into the forum and click the "Inbox" link from the forum header.
Click the "Start A New Conversation" button from the right-hand side.
In the first box type "Ammit" as the recipient. In the second box type the problem you are having.
In order to provide you with the best possible customer service, we do not maintain a support email. If you have an issue please directly contact us via the forum. Please do not send questions via email as they will likely not be seen. By using the forum we can see your game account instantly and this greatly cuts down on the back and forth we have to do to address your issue.
Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

As to this issue, there really is no way to remove it. While I probably should add that it basically never comes up so has never been an issue worth spending the time on. Most people just upload something else if they don't like the image they uploaded.
Why not make a post asking for help with making a header? :)Need to contact me? Read this first.

Um, I had a header for a few years now and decided it was time to change it. The picture I picked for some reason was really high in kb, but when I reduced it down to where the kb was okay, the picture is too small. I guess what I need to know is how to reduce the kb without reducing the size. I guess if you really wanted it blank, just make a white square pic that's maybe 4 pixels by 4 pixels, white, and upload that.
And just for the record, I asked permission to use the artwork. My friend said yes, it's free advertising. The sable puppy in the picture is my dog.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-09 23:24:05 -
You can compress a jpg image to reduce the file size without reducing the dimensions. It might look slightly more grainy but probably the loss of image quality won't be very noticeable.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom
