Searching horses not in auction
-
How do I search for horses that are *not* in the auction? The only choice seems to be for those that *are*. (My own horses)Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-11 12:14:07

the default opens with no boxes checked .... you just enter your Barn ID and hit Search if you are looking for your own ; dont forget to enter which horses you are looking for by Genes or names or w/eThanked by 1OopsDotCom

I want horses that are not in the auction. All genes, all names, all barns. I'd do it barn by barn, but there's still no way to select ones that aren't, as far as I can tell.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-11 13:20:42

When you first open the Search ; Nothing should be checked at all ; you have to physically check the "auction" button for it to only search Auction horses; you can search your barn or your entire herd .Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

I'm sorry, but I don't want to search for horses that are in the auction. I want the horses that are NOT auction, not the ones that are.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-11 14:16:06

There's no way to filter out horses that are in the auction. You would have to make a point of adding something to their name like "auc" whenever you enter horses in the auction, and then filter out horses that have that in the name.
-
ok, am not sure how else to explain this : when you open the "Search Horses" NOTHING in the Auction / Sale / Etc box is checked; you have to physically choose to check an option ; if you dont want auction horses DO NOT check the box. Leave that box blank and you can search what ever you want to
-
@annismyrph you are correct, but they want to search their horses without any horses popping up that may be in auction. Auction horses will still pop up without the box checked. The box just filters to select only those in auction.
EX: Say I want to look up all my foundation mares that i have that are NOT in the auction. If I look up my foundation mares, even without checking the box, its gonna show me ALL the mares, INCLUDING the auctioned ones.
Oops is saying they want the search to EXCLUDE the auction horses. Make sense?Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

It doesn't show horses ENTERED in the auction when the auction is not running. It only shows horses in the auction when the auction is running.

I'm doing it wrong then, because horses that are in the auction do show in the search, even though the auction is not running.
The only way I can figure out how to do this is first, select all the horses that *are* in the auction, then bulk move them to an empty barn. Then you can do a search excluding that barn. This, of course, assumes you have a spare barn of a fair size.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-11 20:48:01 -
Unless I'm reading wrong, everyone is trying to tell me how to find horses that are in the auction, no, I'm trying to find horses that are NOT in the auction.
Thank you everyone who tried to help. I appreciate it.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-06-11 20:49:06 -
That is not correct CF. It shows all entries in the auction. The search does not know if it is running or not
There is no way to do what you are wanting to do Oops.Post edited by Ammit at 2022-06-11 21:47:02Need to contact me? Read this first.
