Possible bug with duplicating advanced tack editor setting
  • Not 100% sure if this *is* a bug to be honest... when you say duplicating tack also duplicates advanced tack editor settings does this mean that if we use the advanced tack editor to move a piece of tack, it should in theory be in the same place if we use the bulk stable management's "copy tack" tool?

If so, I slightly changed the position of the unicorn horn on my horse with the oh-so-original name of 000tackup (shown below) to close the small gap between the base of the horn and the horse's forehead that's visible when you use the long and luscious offside mane tack item.

I then used the bulk management tack copy tool and copied that horse's tack scheme to another adult horse but when viewed and refreshed the horn proved to be in the old position. I forget which exact horse I tested it on originally, but I followed the same steps with a different horse (remove all existing tack, refresh, use the bulk management copy tack from 000tackup) and that horse is also shown below for comparison.

If it helps I'm using the Google Chrome browser that was auto-loaded on my android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e).

  • You might have to zoom in and look close to see the change, it's *very* small. I'm just OCD enough to notice I guess?
  • I've noticed that I have to load the advanced tack manager on the second horse after copying the tack before it adopts the advanced changes, then save the image. Though sometimes the colors go a little wacky and have to be set manually in the editor, but those corrected colors never show on the thumbnail.
  • CLynnRose is correct about what is going on. The normal tack generation is not linked to the advanced editor yet, meaning you have to open each horse in the advanced editor and then save it there for your changes to apply. This of course won't be like this forever, but for the moment it is.
