We had many feedback comments last season about the gift announcement post. It really caused issues for people and we were asked to direct people to private messaging instead. It was always the intention for people to send a message via PM and it has traditionally always been done that way.

Some unclear wordding on the GE page made last season made some people think it should be done publicly and that lead to an avalanche of these posts. The gift exchange now directs you to please do your gifter announcements privately.

Thank you so much for your understanding. I know some people loved doing it publicly but I had so many feedback messages asking us to make sure things went back to the old system that I am going to go with that. With hundreds of members participating I agree that it is simply too many posts.
