    I've stuffed my red papered mares into my primary pasture, but the generations are all mixed together. Will the mare lose it's advantage if I take it from the primary pasture, put a few of the same generation in a smaller pasture to breed, then put them back in the primary pasture?

    You can move mares between pastures with no loss of the bonus. You can even move them briefly into a barn, as long as they are back in a pasture before the nightly rollover.
