Moving horses as a group? ⛝ Question answered.
-
When I search and get results, is there a way to select which ones you want to do something with such as move them, or is the only way to do it is open each horse in a separate tab and move them one by one? There doesn't seem to be the option to view them and select ones then go back to select them in the barn.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2022-07-10 21:04:39

I don't believe there is any way to select and then move horses from search results pages. You can select and move them from barn pages or (I'm pretty sure) from pasture pages, but not from search results.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

Thank you.
I'll leave this question open for a bit in case someone else has hints that I could use to speed things up. -
Are you talking about the "View, Filter and Select in search" right next to the stall numbers at the top? Or just the search horses tool on the sidebar?Chuck help me resist the Shiny babies.... Chuck says I'm on my own. :'(

It's the same search horses page, whether you access it by clicking the "view, filter, and select in search" link from the barn/pasture page or from the sidebar menu. The difference that allows you to select in barn from search is when there's a barn or pasture ID entered in the search filters. Then there will be a checkbox by each horse in the search results as well as a select/deselect all and a select in barn button. It will go to the barn you specified in the search filter to select the horses that you checked in the search, so it won't work if you had filtered for horses not in that particular barn. It also only works for one barn at a time, so you'll have to do multiple searches to select horses across different barns.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom
