Some of you might remember me mentioning in other posts that I'm a writer.
My brain is stuck on this thing and won't let go of it, lol.

So what I want is name ideas for military units. One name for the Royal Guard, one name for the home guard (world wide) so to speak. One name for a specific division of the military that deals with justice and laws. One name for a different division of the military that travel on foreign expeditions to other areas of the galaxy.

Those four would be the big names. But names for smaller units like battalions and so on would be welcome, since I might need a bunch, and they need to be based on nature or military themed, but DnD style.
Like for example, Silver Spear, Icethorn, Moonshadow, etc.

I helped my Dad create a rewrite of the Dwarven and Elven lores. It was really fun.
What D&D languages are you using? You could borrow words from them to name the military units.
For example: "Death bringers" translates to "bekisnhlekili" in Draconic.

OH, I'm not using DnD languages. I just wanted DnD style military unit names, if that makes sense, like Silver Spear, Icethorn, Moonshadow, etc. I dunno what naming style that would be called.
