  • The "Founding a New Breed" info on the breed management page could be updated, particularly these two lines:

    - After creating the breed you will be able to set the name, weight rules, optional height rules, and default tattoo for this breed.
    - Each breed only works for light-boned, medium-boned, or heavy-boned horses.

    https://www.huntandjump.com/breeds.php

The entire list could be rewritten like this to make it more clear:

    Things to know about breeds:

It costs 10 IVs to found a new breed. New breeds will be created with the breed name "National."
After creating the breed, you will be able to set the name, optional weight and height rules, and optional default tattoo for this breed.
If set, height and weight rules for each breed can only allow one size: light-bone or medium-bone or heavy-bone weight and standard or pony or collectible height. Once horses are set to your breed, the breed rules cannot be changed.
Once your new breed is founded, you will be able to register the breed of horses bred by you and create new foundations of that breed. Only unbred horses that were bred or created by you can be assigned your breed.
Breed names are not removed in the event that you no longer have a premium upgrade, but will become uneditable until your upgrade is renewed.

Foals inherit the breed of their parents under the following rules:

If a weight rule is set, foals must be the correct bone weight (light, medium, or heavy) for the foal to inherit the breed name.
If a height rule is set, foals must be the correct height (standard, pony, or collectible) to inherit the breed name.
If the sire and the dam are the same breed and the foal follows the bone weight and height rules, the foal will be born that breed, even if you are not the founder of that breed. (Note: Foals born to breeds you are not the founder of will still have the default tattoo of that breed.)
When cross-breeding, the foal is always born to a breed you are the founder of, depending on the following rules:
If you are the founder of the sire's breed and the foal meets the rules for that breed, the foal will be born the same breed as the sire, regardless of whether you're also the founder of the dam's breed.
If you are the founder of the dam's breed but not the sire's breed and the foal meets the rules for the dam's breed, the foal will be born the same breed as the dam.
Any foals bred by you that cannot inherit the breed of their sire or dam will be born under your default breed name.
The breed names "National" and "University" are never inherited.

Also, maybe the use of the word "foal" should be changed to "unbred horses" in some places to avoid confusion. I thought reassigning breeds was age-dependent because of this:

Founded breeds can be applied to new creates or newly born foals, that follow the breed rules.

    Could be rewritten:

Founded breeds can be applied to new creates or unbred lined horses that follow the breed rules.

Although, I'm still not sure, can the breed be changed if the foal inherited another player's breed? That should be more clear in this info as well.
