It was brought to my attention that as long as the horses I was breeding were both carrying Snow from the father, that i would never get a homozygous snow/snow horse.
I looked at my small pool of examples and to my surprise, that is what happened. Is this dumb luck or what?
so in other words to get snow from two het snow horses, I'd need the sire to be snow/Sn and the mare to be Sn/Snow AND be lucky. If the mare and the stallion were both snow/Sn, they would never produce a homozygous snow
