I'm back from the dead + Summer Adventures
  • Hello everyone!

I took a break for a while. I kind of lost interest in the game for a bit and did some other fun summer stuff!

I went camping in my trailer which was really fun, but also really hot. Then I went to a historical stopping house and ranch, which was super cool and I went on a stagecoach ride.

When we came back home I went on a trail ride with my horse Flynn and he decided to be extra spicy and excited. He spooked, did the big racing thoroughbred walk (I was half halting the whole trail ride :-)) ). I swear you can not convince him he's 17 years old. He kicks sprinklers and face fights with other horses.

Recently I went to a petting zoo and I got to see dama wallabees, wallaroos, some other type of wallabee, patagonia cavies, sugar gliders, blue and red macaws, african grey parrots, more parrots, coconut parakeet, a porcupine, emus, a ball python, goats, a potbellied pig and capybaras!

Also update on my snake, Hickory is very happy and we got a new tank for him. We are waiting for some metal clips to arrive because the currents clips on the top are strong but we need more because Hickory will escape with ease.

I am wanting to get my old 5 gallon fish tank started up again, I want to do live plants and make a small community tank. Any reccomondations other than bettas, guppies, zebra danios, cory catfish and shrimp?

  • Welcome back! Sounds like you have had exciting summer so far. I work on the beach cleaning, so fall/winter is when I get to do vacation type things outside of the rare boat trip out when it's hot. Haha. I miss having horses as well, I just traded for a creature that talks back to me instead. ( Son :D )

We just recently acquired a 75gal. And have 2 Bichirs in it (Senegal and a Delhezi). Previous owners had them and they came with. It was too good of a deal for the setup to pass up. Even though I'd rather have some Ryukin Goldfish. :-)) I have a 10gal I've been itching to start up. Maybe live plants. I've always been a Betta fan. That and they are fairly easy to care for. But my friend is a fanatic about the Drawrf Puffers (need like 2 or 3 in a tank. Heard they prefer brackishy water. Sparkling Gouramis, Scarlet Badis and Bumblebee Gobies are pretty to look at.
