make sure mares and stallion match PT and papers as much as possible. Early on, I bought a beautiful stallion to "Improve" my herd, and all i've gotten from him are geldings. This year I finally have some fillies that i can breed to him.. in November!

last season i had the same issue full bonus on mares sba aproved
and not one even the Bop foal did not pass sba mine was a 30 pasture this season it is so far not to jinx myself pretty good.

@sharayah, so you are saying, I could breed a mare 9.0 to a stud 13.0 pt and it won't matter, if they're both blue or A?
I keep thinking I understand, and then it gets more complicated again.

I bred blue 3G mares to an A 3G stallion.

Just unlucky I think, although there is only 3 mares with 30 days pasture bonus, the rest have only been in the pasture a few days. 3 foals that didn't make it is unlucky, but not unusual, even with parents with similar breeding ability. The mares look like they could be a bit behind the stallion though, I only looked at the ones with 30 days pasture, but they look like low blue, and the sire is superior to an A paper. Compare your mares to a blue papered mare so see which ones are the best
Do it again next season and maybe quite a few more pass though, and at least with using a good stallion like that, it means that the ones who pass will be great quality
