"Cap" Horses

I ve been seeing some posts about "Cap" Breeding horses . My question is how do you know you ve hit that marker?
Does everything you breed test AGA ? AT what point should I expect to start nearing the breeding "cap" on NON Boosted horses? PT Doesnt affect Breeed ability so am hestitant to be ok with xxx PT Score ?

Seems to be 9th generation for me. I have yet to breed a Superior 9th gen horse. I do not boost, but I start with all ExPro/ExPerf foundations. I do not boost. I have gotten a few 8th gens, but its hard to get superior.#243786
