Difference between Bootstrapping and uneven breeding.

So is it just the fact you only use the same sir for the fillies and continue the line that way, I guess I am more confused about the whole bootstrap breeding.
I totally understand uneven breedings.Post edited by Tzano at 2022-08-30 12:10:30 -
Bootstrapping in a general sense means doing the impossible. In the game, it is getting super high-PT show horses way faster than you should be able to get them by using a cap-level ability (or near cap but at minimum a star stallion) and breeding him in mass to foundation or low-level mares to get show horses.
If you are not breeding a super high stud to low level mares you are not bootstrapping.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Thank you for the clarification. Most appreciated.

Yeah, people get really loose with the term, it took me a while to figure out what it was. I still call my herd a bootstrap herd LOL but I phased out the lower-papered mares as their babies got older, and I've mixed in a variety of horses as it suits me, so my "bootstraps" really aren't anymore. Still fun and make great show babies though!Starstruck2 on Bluegrass and Forest
