The W20 is increasing the amount of white from the W1, so it's probably blocking out the Onyx expression. If you removed the W20, it would reduce the amount of white, thereby allowing the Onyx markings to show through(I think). I'm still learning, so I could be wrong. Based on what I've seen though, Onyx doesn't seem to show on white areas, so I'd bet that's what's hiding it.

The first one has too much white. You could remove W20 but then you would hide the roses.

The second ones coat color is too light. I can see the onyx but it is faint. Removing either champagne or cream would make it more obvious.

If you take the W20 off him, you should be able to see both, but there will be fewer roses. W1 adds enough white to show phantom genes pretty well, even at minimal WF. Here are a couple of examples. The first has roses but also frame which increases the white a bit. The second doesn't have any other genes that would increase the white, but has diamond sparkle for the phantom gene.
