Twins are extremely rare and are slightly more likely to occur if the mare is chimeric (since there is a suspected genetic tendency to twinning and chimerism is a result of twin embryos fusing). I do not recall if the sire being chimeric has an impact.

Very, very, very small. One user used to specialize in black chimera horses - in pastures full of chimeric mares, they were still only getting one or two chimera foals a season, if I recall correctly. They are definitely not published statistics, and I'm not sure if chimera foals are common enough for the chances/odds to be calculable from our end (versus the programming side).

Because the game's twin rate on 1 in 10,000. The same as the number of LIVE twin births in real life. We just skip the foaling deaths as that does not sound like a fun game to me.
